The 2023 MHS National Honor Society Induction and Mascoutah Schools Achievement Award Ceremony was certainly special! It was an evening dedicated to service, leadership and excellence! Our students were able to hear about the wonderful lifetime achievements of some of our outstanding alumni who are influencing their career fields in amazing ways. All after school activities are cancelled for this evening at MHS, including the FFA Fish Fry and tonight's Musical Performance, which will be rescheduled to a Saturday matinee, April 1st at 1:00pm. Saturday evening's performance will proceed as planned at 7:00pm. All tickets for tonight will automatically be transferred to the Saturday performance at 1:00pm. MHS AFJROTC students participated in SAFB ROTC Showcase Day. Students got to tour aircraft, examine explosives disposal robots, apply tourniquets then move a simulated aeromedical evacuation patient, and observe a military working dog demonstration. #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

Thanks to an IEA SCORE grant, young adults in the MHS LIFE (Learning In a Functional Environment) program have some awesome new uniforms to wear to their community vocational training sites. MHS AP Stats collected data to test if students could determine which of three soda samples were different. Data is used in a hypothesis test to draw a conclusion on if MHS students can determine the different soda more often than by just guessing! #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

Ms. Bryant's math classes at MHS recently celebrated Pi Day with yummy treats and by writing "Pi-Kus," a poem of six lines and 23 syllables arranged in a 3–1–4–1–5–9 pattern! #19EveryStudent #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

Mascoutah High School Team 7496 was all Charged Up for the FRC Robotics Competition in St Louis this weekend! Students built their robot from scratch, programmed, and drove it in competition! #19EveryStudent #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

MHS Model UN students attended the McKendree Conference, with three delegations representing the Norway, Sweden, and Canada. Students debated topics and passed resolutions. Congratulations to Regan Masterson, who won an honorable mention for her position paper! #19EveryStudent
